Where’s the map?
Google Maps comes with your Doro smartphone. You will find it with the other Google apps. Look for the icon that looks like a folded paper map.
The first time you open Google Maps, it asks for permission to use your location. We recommend that you accept, so the app can work out where you are in relation to where you want to go.
Never get lost again
Google Maps has several useful functions. It can:
- Find the smartest route between two places, by car or on foot.
- Show your exact position and the direction you are moving in.
With a smartphone, you do not need to worry about getting lost in a new city.

You can get tips about attractions, restaurants, hotels and other useful or interesting places nearby. Tap a place on the map to find out more about it, such as its opening hours and reviews. It is practical and convenient.
TripAdvisor
TripAdvisor works like a travel guide you can carry with you. It is a free app on Google Play. You can download maps and get tips and reviews for hotels and restaurants in more than 300 cities around the world.
Travellers around the world keep the information up to date, so the reviews are very current. After your own trip, you can add your own tips and reviews to help others.
