Your Doro Aurora includes audio settings that can make voices clearer during calls when you use a hearing aid.

This step-by-step video shows you how to choose Doro ClearSound or turn on hearing aid compatibility mode.

Before you begin

  • Make sure your smartphone is switched on and unlocked.
  • Check whether your hearing aid is compatible with hearing aid compatibility mode, also known as HAC mode.
  • Have your hearing aid instructions nearby if you are unsure which setting to use.

Adjust the hearing settings

  1. Wake your phone using the side button.
  2. Swipe up to unlock it.
  3. Tap the right-hand dot at the bottom of the screen.
  4. Select Settings.
  5. Select Sound & vibration.
  6. Select Audio setup for voice calls.
  7. Choose the setting that best suits your needs:
    • Select Doro ClearSound to make voices clearer for age-related hearing loss.
    • Select HAC mode if you use a compatible hearing aid with your phone.

What to do next

Press the home key to leave the settings menu, then press it again to return to the home screen.

Make a test call to check the sound. You can return to these settings at any time and try the other option if needed.
